My very first player sprite concept, so it's a bit raw in some parts.

Orange might be tough to use in dark rooms. The orange will switch to brown pretty quickly, due to the limited number of oranges in the colormap. But, it might be ok. Maybe you might want to experiment with a simple sprite shape (like a rectangle), before spending too much time drawing all the frames, only to have to recolor everything down the road. I hope it works out well - it's a cool enemy!

Thanks for the response, this is supposed to be a player sprite based on this guy.

Sprites for the can of soda. When picked up, it gives a small heal, then it is dropped. A Rolling (used) version of the can, and the green paper type thing (what is it called again?), are spawned. The green paper has a frame when falling and a frame when it lands. The can keeps rolling and slowing down for a random amount of time until it stops. It may randomly turn to the left or right while rolling. If a player walks on it, try to have it take damage, and to have its Pain.Stomp state make it cut all velocities and permanently stay in the Stomped frame.

Is the Doom marine GIF a capture and possible recolor of a model you placed on a turntable? I'm really interested to know how you made this - very nice!

Thank you, the doomguy 360° is a 3d model that I made in zbrush, then the render is made in Cinema4d to match the light condition of the true doom sprites.

Same for the Templier/Crusader.

are ya gonna make em into sprite sheets? i might use em as a base. i will credit ya..i am working on a project

More of a graphic than a sprite, but here's a half-assed attempt at giving Doom 2's M_DOOM the lighting of The Ultimate Doom's M_DOOM.

Halloween Harry TC?! Kick ass!

 

I'm currently not at my computer right now to share my sprites, but I am working on a Jazz Jackrabbit TC!

First Mod to ever work on! I am almost finished. I've completed 13/20 levels, currently designing level 14.

@AlanjWeh89 Jazz Jackrabbit is one of the most beloved game of my childhood! Good luck with your project, I would love to try it out!

@Noiser Thank you buddy, I totally agree. I thought it be awesome project to work on. Once I am finished, I will let everyone on here know. I would share it now but I personally don't like sharing unfinished work.

 

It definitely has that Jazz Jackrabbit feel, with the mix of influences of classic FPS games. My mod has a new story line and it's twisted... I remember Epic games was gonna make a 3rd game but dropped the project. So my mod takes place years after the Jazz Jackrabbit 2.

 

Here's Screenshots of the progress I've done over the year of working on my project (between Feb 2018 - May 2019) There was a lot of changes I did since these screenshots were taken.

Some photos I took for a shotgun re-skin. Doom's color palette makes some of them look weird though. I probably did something wrong.

That does look quite nice so far. The Shotgun looks a bit "flimsy", but other than that good work. The last hand is indeed more grey/brown than "fleshy". You might want to check the original source photograph and bring the color tone / brightness of the hand as close as possible to the other photos.

I can't really change the shotgun, but I can change the coloring. Thanks!

I made the last one a bit less dark. I have to modify the color or else there's yellow blots on it, but not too much.

Finally finished up the Cookiedemon sprite sheet. I know that the last few angles are a bit messy and rushed, but that's primarily because I wanted to get this damned sprite sheet done, after at least a year of on-and-off work.

Looks pretty good, i would like to see this sprite on a next hdoom update
