Made some Vanilla Palette-Friendly Edits of Caco Fire Balls exploding (And sorry, I couldn't create a Gif, Because it looks dumb)

I've made the Demons from the cover from Don Ivan Punchatz art. Used the Imp, the Baron of Hell and the Pinky as references.
Also I've made faces for Doomguy picking up the Berserk powerup, and punching with it.

It's not the best but it's my attempt on it.
Feel free to use or improve. Credit is always appreciated.

New enemy: The authority (Replacement for the Hell knight)

 

 

Incorruptible and stoic, Authorities are the embodiment of law and order. They act as judge, jury and in rare cases, executioner. Their handcrafted broadswords have taken the lives of countless wicked souls and demons.

Redid the player sprites for Heretic (from scratch, except cloak clasps reused from the original). This will also be in the next version of The Wayfarer's Tome, but feel free to use it for whatever. For now I'm keeping the stock burn death; I'll have to decide if I want to redo it later.

Awesome!  Any plans to finish the set? I would totally put this these fiend demons into my wads.  They would fit very well.

So far this is my progress, I've been lazy to complete them since I'm not used to do this kind of work.

But maybe if I complete them in a future, I would make a map inspired also on the Doom cover, with a similar ending of E1M8 (a bunch of those demons surrounding Doomguy, with intermission text screen and a final image honoring the cover)

Is the torso supposed to be floating and seperate from the main body?

@whatup876 No, it just looks like it, although i had in mind that when it dies, the torso blows up into a cloud of gore and flames, while the legs runs around trying to kick the player.

Wad I'm working on has different BFG/plasma behaviour and ammo capacity so in order to jive with my rule of altered behaviour dictates altered appearance, I did some new energy cell sprites. Feel free to grab them if they're useful to you!

Looks pretty cool. As a sprite it looks like a twisted dead tree trunk, with some gnarled branches at the top it would look like a proper hellish tree.

@DooMAD That's much more cooler and more fitting than just dead gnarled branches at the top, now it looks like something out of Berserk, although It looks better on the Heretic pallete, the top looks a bit off in Doom's palette.

Finally finished the walk cycle for the Authority angel. She took far longer than usual to finish, but I'm happy with the results.
