Alter Posted July 21, 2015 So here's the deal doomworld fellas, my birthday's TOMORROW on July 22, so for those who don't have enough of a speedmapping challenge post ASS20 can tag along for this ride, here's a challenge from me! You have time until July 23 6AM GMT+1 to finish your maps INCLUDING testing as I want to do the least amount of personal quality control after this, so the wad can go faster to /idgames. The actual challenge is, you will be using a mapset that was not used in the latest Mayhem, that is, the doomified Soulcrusher texture set, if you want visual examples of what you can do with it, see the original Soulcrusher thread here: http://www.doomworld.com/vb/wads-mods/62070-soulcrusher-1-3-released/ So here's the exact ground rules: 1) You must make the maps in the boom format. 2) You must use the Boom-Soulcrusher texture set (that means no stock textures) which is found here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xvnzgdezbwpibeu/SCTexA.wad?dl=0 3) You are allowed to use custom sky transfers and midis. 4) Don't rush it, make it good even if the map has to be small in the end. 5) You are allowed to submit 2 maps maximum, I want this to be a mini-episode in general. scifista42 Posted July 21, 2015 The now-uploaded version still doesn't run in PrBoom-plus due to texture problems - missing SKY1-3 texture entries. ANIMDEFS don't work either, you need ANIMATED+SWITCHES in Boom. 0 Share this post Link to post
