Monster not attacking after changing animation frames.

So to kick off a project I decided to replace the Wolfenstein monster frames with frames from a monster in the humans.wad zdoom monster resource wad. I made a simple map in map01 so I can verify the animation is all good.

When the monster notices player, it walks around aimlessly but will not attack the player at all. When I load up map30, the monster will attack the player right away as it should. Any ideas folks?

Do other monsters work?

Try adding another room to your map, I've had problems with single room maps.

If your test map consists of only 1 sector, there is a high probability that the nodebuilder messed up building REJECT lump, then any line of sight checks performed within the map will be evaluated as false, which prevents monsters from ever entering attack state.
