things you would have liked to record or photograph, but couldn't

Recommended Posts

hi guys, im sure a lot of you have had moments in you wanted to capture something, but couldnt. this thread is for sharing those moments :)

in my case, one i remember very clearly was this time when i was on the bus back from school. a very large dog had stopped the traffic, it was panicking and for some bizarre reason would move each towards the cars that tried to get around it, only to stop again in panic. then out of the blue this short homeless guy appeared and carried the dog to safety. it was funny and cute seeing how the dog was being carried despite being almost the same size as the homeless guy (well not really almost the same size, but still pretty big). i got the camera out, but i had forgotten to put the memory card in XD

what sort of things would youve experienced, would you liek to have recorded and or photographed?

Every single fuckin' sick car or bike that drives past too fast for me to get a picture. It's especially annoying with bikes because even if they're stopped so I could get a picture, they probably don't want some stranger taking pictures of them.

One time when i was 9 I was on vacation at a resort and there were these people playing volleyball in the pool. Two dudes, one older lady and one of the hottest blondes ive ever seen. She had to have been 18-22yo and she had a sexy tattoo on her thigh and another on her lower back. She was gorgeous. Then the ball came towards her and as she jumped up to spike the ball, her tits popped out of her top for like a second before she fell into the water and fixed it. She was so nonchalant about it, and it was so fast. I think I may have been the only one who saw it.

Come to think of it it would be weird of me to have a picture of that now but at the time it was the first time I saw tits IRL and I would have given anything to stretch that second as long as humanly possible. At the time I probably never would have guessed porn would be as good as it is today.

There's been 2 times I've seen a slow worm, and both times, no camera with me. Then I've seen some foxes.. one time I had the camera, but the camera wasn't ready, because it was preparing the flash or whatever. Some time I was on top of this hill and there were big butterflies, but it was so windy that they didn't stay still. I'd like to get photos of vipers and viviparous lizards too, and maybe some better pics of newts.

That fat squirrel who keeps breaking tree branches. I get videos and photos of him, but its at such far of a distance he looks like a speck even when zoomed in. I can see so much better than my Samsung Galaxy.

I've always wanted to see world war two and the whole following decades of time (40's-70's) with crystal clear HD quality. That goes for any video footage of the past really. Would have been interesting to see things without that typical "old" look riddled with analog grainy distortion (or straight black-and-white.) Granted some footage from the 60's is pretty damn clear but even still.

They've done some pretty good work colourizing older photos lately:

Looks like an officer took out his smart phone for a quick snap
