Adding Blender animations to WADs

Recommended Posts

Yes, GZDoom models. Or I can use 16-side images taken from a Blender model, like was made in a HD sprites thread. What should I do?

That depends on your talent to do graphics.
Sprites can look very good, whereas models, in general, look very blocky.

However, a full set of sprites, especially with 16 rotations, is extremely time consuming.

Models also have their benefits, such as smoother animation and a perspective that doesn't cause them to look flat when seeing them from above or below. Mostly, it's the limitations of the OpenGL Doom source ports and the MD3 format that keep models from looking better.
