Whether I can or not is still a little uncertain due to other things happening, but I'll try and make room for this because damn it, uni can't be taking up all my time. :/ Another thing is that due to living in Australia and this continent not yet being up to speed with the rest of the world in terms of internet connectivity, someone other than me will need to host the Skype call, and I probably won't have a good stream quality so someone else will need to stream a playthrough of the maps after they're made. I can probably do the compilation, though, at least in a preliminary fashion. The time I have in mind - 12PM (noon) EST on Saturday 24 October. Subject to change - if this is met with complaints I should be able to shift it one way or another - hopefully. Linking this again for usefulness: http://everytimezone.com Come to #abyssal on OFTC.net for discussion. Who's in? :> 0 Share this post Link to post

Breezeep Posted October 10, 2015 I'm not really sure about the time. Mind if you could set it back to 2PM EST if you're find with that? 0 Share this post Link to post
an_mutt Posted October 10, 2015 that time is 3AM my time, so any chance of an earlier time is much appreciated by myself too. (I'm aware that this may put Aussie folks into some kind of early morning time frame, so I understand if that's an issue too!) 0 Share this post Link to post
Jimmy Posted October 10, 2015 Okay, sounds like it needs to be in the general vicinity of midday for Americans so Europeans can get a look-in as well. How is 12PM EST? scifista42 said:That site doesn't even have EST in there. New York (EDT) is the same timezone. (I think.) 0 Share this post Link to post

AD_79 Posted October 10, 2015 why yes i do think i'll rustle my way into this session 0 Share this post Link to post
scifista42 Posted October 10, 2015 Breezeep said:Nah, I'm pretty sure that Jimmy meant 12PM as noon, not midnight. EDIT: Noon EST = ~6PM my time, so I'd be okay with that time. 0 Share this post Link to post
SavageCorona Posted October 10, 2015 Australian timezones pls why do you have to be so awkward that's 2 in the morning in the UK 0 Share this post Link to post

That, or Google is lying to me. Unfortunately, I'm working that day so as much as I want to join I won't be able to. 0 Share this post Link to post
Tristan Posted October 10, 2015 Worth bearing in mind the clocks go back to GMT on that Sunday. I think this does make it 2am(??) 0 Share this post Link to post

Obsidian Posted October 10, 2015 :D You're probably gonna see your face incorporated into the INTERPIC Jimmy. :P Count me in. 0 Share this post Link to post
SavageCorona Posted October 10, 2015 And a lot of agitation in my map should the time be moved to a more reasonable one. 0 Share this post Link to post
Jimmy Posted October 11, 2015 Yeah, so, midday for Americans (i.e. 12PM EST/UTC-5) is midnight for me (12AM UTC+8). That makes it: 5PM/early evening in GMT/UTC zones (UK/Europe) Midnight/early morning for Australians Late morning/midday for Americans EDIT: FP updated with new time 0 Share this post Link to post
Suitepee Posted October 11, 2015 While I'm not taking part in this (not being a mapper and all), I'd just like to show my appreciation for how awesome that Jimmy gif is. 0 Share this post Link to post
Jimmy Posted October 11, 2015 If the time is still awkward, shall I set up a second "session"? Round 1: 12PM (EST) - Session starts, themes revealed, resource gathering starts 12:20PM - Mapping starts 2:20PM - Bugfixing/Alfonzo time starts 3:20PM - Mapping ends, completed maps compiled 4:20PM - Streamed playthrough starts Round 2: 12AM - Alternate session starts. Possibly a new theme or three revealed, resource gathering starts 12:20AM - Mapping starts 2:20AM - Bugfixing/Alfonzo time starts 3:20AM - Mapping ends 4:20AM - Session ends. Submissions will not be accepted beyond this time. 0 Share this post Link to post
Breezeep Posted October 11, 2015 I think the first timeline sounds pretty good. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to partake in this session. 0 Share this post Link to post

jmickle66666666 Posted October 11, 2015 i hate that alfonzo time is just like "extra mapping time" its dumb and defeats the purpose of having a 2 hour timelimit just like, have the timelimit 3 hours if you're gonna give people 3 hours 0 Share this post Link to post
SavageCorona Posted October 12, 2015 Which one is the early evening one? Fuzzball is probably going to remind me at the last second as I'm about to do something else unproductive but it's good to get an estimate of when that is. 0 Share this post Link to post
