About extracting sound files from Doom:one

Hey fellas, recently I just the 4 official wad with project brutality, but somehow I just can't forget the soundtrack from the ultimate doom with doom:one mod, I've tried to extract with wad browser but what comes out is just a file, I can't open it, neither convert it from format factory, can anyone give me some advise to collect this work of art?

If you legally own doom wads just use SLADE 3 to extract the sound files, or replace them in another wad. just dont "distribute" the original audio.

Another option is to download the MIDI tracks from here, or MP2 tracks from here.

An alternative to extracting the soundtrack is to play it direct from the wad with XMPlay, using its midi and wad plugins plus a decent soundfont.
