JDoom problems

Well, I got the son of a bitch to work. The only problem is, it keeps crashing in the middle of the second level of whatever IWAD I'm using.
Are there any reason as to why it keeps doing this?
The graphics are absolutely beautiful, and I like how acid turns the surrounding green and water lights everything up in a blue hue. The dynamic lights and such stuff are also gorgeous, but the fact the enemy sprites tend to slide around threw me a little.

Anyway, how do I stop the random crashing?

yea many of the GL ports are a bit funky. some work like a dream on systems but will totaly die on others. alot of them need bug fixes and updates. zdoomGL has been getting some work, but i have not tried the newer versions. the GL port that i find to be the most stable is legacyGL, and i am sure boomGL is very stable too. i would try to mess with the settings, update drivers and directX. also what type of system do u have, windows95/98, linux, winXP...
check those things first.

I've gotten nearly every GL port I've ever downloaded to work, and JDoom I can get to run. However, it keeps crashing on me.
I wanna know how you stop this.
