Linguica Posted January 11, 2000 Fanatic has been busy putting together his second music CD entitled "Delicate Balance," but could still use some more people to buy his first CD, "Fragging Fanatical." 0 Share this post Link to post
Hyena Posted January 11, 2000 Do many people at Doomworld like that sort of music? I think it's well done, but outside of my taste in music. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Fanatic Posted January 11, 2000 I would guess not, based on how many have been sold via the internet. However, the MP3's of the CD have been downloaded almost 900 times, so on that note, I would say people *do* like this kind of music. I'm sure a lot of the downloads are from word of mouth. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Anonymous User Posted January 11, 2000 I think it's a great cd. haven't bought it myself, 'cause it's not my kind of music, but for those who like rock-music, like Nine Inch Nails or whatever, should buy this cd, no doubt. Besides it's only $8... oh and one more cool thing about this cd, as Fanatic said himself, u can play this cd while playing Quake 3:Arena (which probably goes well) and Half-Life, etc. So it's worth the 8 bucks. 0 Share this post Link to post
Test-0 Posted January 11, 2000 ...I'm Canadian and it would cost about $60000 by the time the 'PEOPLE' tax the hell'o out of it. :) 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Fanatic Posted January 11, 2000 It should cost you $8 US, period. I pay shipping. Are you being taxed somehow after it arrives? You could always move to the US... :) And thank Anonymous User, your comments are appreciated. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Anonymous User Posted January 12, 2000 Sorry if this gets posted twice, but it didn't show up for me the first time (probably posted it to the wrong forum, considering the number of windows I have open). Anyway: Test-0 sez: //I would buy it but... ...I'm Canadian and it would cost about $60000 by the time the 'PEOPLE' tax the hell'o out of it. :)// :) Well, if Fanatic marks the customs forms "Gift", then it should be tax-free, I think. Now all you need to worry about is the crazy exchange rate.:) 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Fanatic Posted January 12, 2000 I have to mark it Merchandise on the customs form, or else they will beat me. Forgive my ignorance, being an American and all, but how can they tax something that is being mailed to you? We don't get that here. We ship it, and it arrives, we open it, and rejoice. Oh, and $8 USD converts to $11.6522 CAD. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Anonymous User Posted January 12, 2000 Fanatic sez: //I have to mark it Merchandise on the customs form, or else they will beat me.// That bites. //Forgive my ignorance, being an American and all, but how can they tax something that is being mailed to you?// Dunno. I don't mail stuff much, I'm just going off the comments of the original poster. But I do know that the twit at the local post office weighs ENVELOPES and if they're over so many ounces makes you pay for the extra stamp. They're not all like that, but there's some real prizes working for the fascist government dogs. 0 Share this post Link to post
