Release of D3? And a test?

I read in the article with John Carmack that he wanted to release a test earlier then they did for Quake 3. The game is due out next year but I keep hearing different months thrown around. Mostly people saying it will be released on Doom 2's Anniversary. Also, when do you think there will be a test released?

Don't be so defensive. It's an interesting question.

Anyway, what I heard from John Carmack is the exact opposite of what you're saying. Last year Carmack said he was planning to release Doom3Test a lot closer to the release of the full game, since he believes Q3Test was released too far ahead of the actual product.

WHERE did you hear that? If it was from a real person, chances are that he misunderstood/forgot something.

I think it was where you guys saw it I just misunderstood what he was saying that's all
