I mean, those screenshots are not jaw-dropping professional but kind of like semi-amateur work (no offense). I like semi-amateur work because the levels editors take much more creative strides and aren't so hung up on ridiculous amounts of detail. However, that map4 screenshot(s) showing the level using a lighting texture for both floor and cieling is hurting my eyes. And of course Matt is a communist. Guest Rez Posted April 22, 2000 The Tester Speaks: the essentially finished maps are pretty close to done IMO, just minor problem fixing and tweaks needed. And as someone else mentions, they're not "professionally detailed" but they're sufficiently fun. FUN is what it's all about. Sometimes WAD authors forget that. Lüt Posted April 22, 2000 THANK GOD!!Of course most of the songs on The Fragile only have one or two loops, so it should only a few days to do the entire album in MIDI.And yeah, I agree Manson's music would be 300% better without him singing but that still isn't saying much at all.Chief - I must have told you 10,000 times that song SUCKS! :P NIN rips on Manson for copying other 70s music and then they do the same thing. Lüt Posted April 23, 2000 Hehe, that's funny. Half the stuff on The Fragile aren't even songs. The only point where that album was just the slightest bit original was the Pilgrimage song and that was hardly exciting, seemed like a bad rehash of that Further Away mix of Closer (which I do think was very good, about one of the only good NIN songs.) But yeah, The Fragile era has truly sucked for NIN - 3 singles for We're In This Together and not one remix of that song on any of them, the B-Sides sucked (one was The Perfect Drug), their new music videos suck, the album art sucked - the whole thing is an unfocused mess. The guy even said he had no idea what he was doing when he wrote it. He probably still doesn't. It may be the #1 album to avoid this Millennium but that's the only credit I give it. First, only kill myself in the team, i'm the only one to have put these songs (oh and Mantra too...). 2nd, I like these songs, and think they sound good in midi. 3rd, I like The Fragile even if I prefer The Downard Spiral, but heh, it's a matter of taste... If you dont like theses songs, well, dont listen... I dislike rap but I wont phone all my friends listening to rap to tell them it's shit... -nomusic !! :P Oh by the way, episode1 soon released...
