i think some of you people don't understand that they didn't take the whole songs rather than parts of it, only single riffs, in some rare cases also the intros ( behind the crooked... and sargent d and the sod)

by the way what do you folks think........what about some metal songs in doom 3? i liked the atmospheric ones in doom more, but i think it would be great to have some thundering guitars from time to time..would be perfect for all those scripted events..like, to add a bit to the action....

Yeah, E2M1 is most definately Big gun. There are some differences but it is that song, and yeah, Big gun wasn't ripped off from anything. Many may of ripped from it, but Big gun is original.

Ktulu and Cthulhu:
"Cthulhu" is the original writing style which had been used by Howard Phillips Lovecraft. Maybe Metallica wrote on purpose "Cthulhu" in another way to honour the author. Because in some of his stories it is written, that the ordinary mortals aren't allowed neither to spell out his name nor to write it down because his name would call him. Metallica probably used the name "Ktulu" instead of "Cthulhu" because they were afraid "Cthulhu" would be copyrighted.

All i know is that Swollen Members' "Fuel Injected" ripped the beat directly from DJ Shadow's "Organ Donor". If you like "Fuel Injected", but have never heard of "Organ Donor", then you are a fuckhead. If you don't know what i'm talking about, remember the name DJ Shadow and forget the name Swollen Members (fagass homosex churchfucks...won a canadian award because they're one of the few retard popshits that we've pumped out lately...I hope they choke to death on cum.)

Another one is that gay new Jennifer Lopez song...they "sampled" the beat from the Luniz' classic smoking song, "I've got 5 on It"...bastards...i hope they get sued for all they're worth (same goes for those other fags mentioned above)
