Captain Mellow's Bot Page has updated with lots of spooging over the features which will be found in the upcoming Skulltag. Here's a quote:

There is so much that can be done with this game. When I go into the setup menu & see the goodies that can be toggled, it gives me goosebumps. I'll see if it's cool w/ Brad for me to go into more detail about that stuff, but let me say that there are things that ST will do, out of the box, that UT needs mutators to do. And they are all as easy to set up as toggling menu items. Skulltag is a Doom player's wet dream, but this is no dream.

Mellow also talks about csDoom a little as well.

I've never played UT, but Skull Tag (It's two words, okay? Geez... it's like a Doom vs DOOM vs DooM thing all over again.) has some pretty intense stuff. While I'm sure The Cap has been working with Brad on the bots, I've been working with him on the multiplayer features, and they're just as impressive. Oh, and by the time I'm done my ST level and you've all played DDM, You will know why ACS was invented... :)
All Skull Tag needs now is client/server, and that finally seems like a very realistic request.
BTW, Louis, please, please shut up.

Like the AM/PM slogan goes: "Too much good stuff." Suffice it to say I'm VERY much looking forward to SkullTag. Risen, is in-game joining going to be a priority, now that csDoom has showcased its possibilities? Louis is sounding more and more like an 11- or 12-year old who's having a.... let's say "tough" time with the girls. ;-)

I'm not designing the engine, but from what I know, Brad is poised to fully implement c/s (and thus, in-game joining) once the source is released. He'd be stupid not to, now. :)
