If REoL TOUGH is hated by EVERYONE, why is it that the recent re-release of a very "old-skool" map got over 150 hits? It seems there's people that like REoL TOUGH, but the morons and editor wanna-be's can't accept that REoL TOUGH is indeed popular. Hell, even my 1'st Q3:A map did VERY well. The gameplay wasn't great (first ever DM map ever made, so sue me), but the reviews give a huge thumbs-up to the archetecture. Anyway, for a month, it made the top 10 list in DM maps on Fileplanet, in the EXACT SAME LEAGUE as Tom Mustaine, literally. He did place a bit better. :) It shows, it can be a crap box with no light, but because it comes from REoL TOUGH, it gets a heavy share of downloads. I STILL haven't seen any proof of earlier maps with thick retaining walls, so I guess I proved my point...again. I wish this place were more like (censored), where those DoioM freaks are mature, and can put a coherent thought together, whether they think my stuff sucked or not (and some do think that). Whether it be hating your work or loving it they all like to have you on the tips of their tongues. It seems that these same individuals that have the time to ridicule you are probably have some kind of hidden passion for you. Those that love your work respect you, such as I. To me your work is up there with some early venerable wads like Outpost 21, Serenity, Return to Phobos,etc. Those are SOME examples of time honored wads that happen to make somebody's top 20 wads or something like that. Those that have shit for brains of course would be as opinionated as such to say that I'm some kind of crazy fuck. But who cares about them. I have yet to remember what worthwhile contributions to the Doom Community they might have made. I'll finish downloading the rest of your series of id levels and look forward to seeing more of your work in the very near future. They don't understand how long it takes to get to where REoL TOUGH is today, and Anonomous, I aggree.
