If you're using the original .exe, load up Doom with "doom -file mywad.wad -devparm", or "doom2 -file mywad.wad -devparm", or whatever.

Once in the game, press F1 to take a screenshot.

I love the Caco maze at the end, and the cool way of escaping the MasterMind.

Just click on Fredriks name to get to his page and you should be able to find it there...

I'd just like to point out that this ISN'T Fredrik's latest .wad :) And it wasn't when this pic was posted either, before someone says that ;)

Actually, it is. If you think of UGHDM01, it has been lying finished on my hard disk for a while...

I thought Legacy was Boom-compatible? The WAD froze my machine when I tried running it through Legacy... twice. What ports are you guys running to get through this level?

Unlike Vrack#, Castle Of Eternal Carrot In The Sky has NEVER crashed ZDoom for me, although I run it with the default heapsize (8).

Boom seems to be the fastest exe, it runs like 50% faster than ZDoom... but maybe it's just my computer...

If you have a decent processor, a good amount of memory and the latest DirectX, ZDoom _should_ be the fastest port :)

I didnt try with ZDooM but PrBooM ran it *mostly* smoothly with my P200MMX/32Mb... Specially the very beginning was really choppy but most places were perfectly smooth running.
