Russell Posted June 24, 2001 okay, own up. Who invented limitless source ports? Come on, step forward, you're responsible for this! 0 Share this post Link to post
Arioch Posted June 24, 2001 I dunno, do they get a medal or a bullet to the head? 0 Share this post Link to post
Afterglow Posted June 24, 2001 I wish he fixed those floating stairs like I told him too... the railings don't match up at all. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bloodshedder Posted June 25, 2001 My God, I got like an average of 10-15 FPS when I played this level. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest demoness Posted June 25, 2001 I like the textures used, but i think im missing the point... 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest BLOODFIRE Posted June 25, 2001 how can i get a pic like those you put, how can i get my own from my doom game? 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest demoness Posted June 25, 2001 you don't know how to take a screenshot? 0 Share this post Link to post
NiGHTMARE Posted June 25, 2001 If you're using the original .exe, load up Doom with "doom -file mywad.wad -devparm", or "doom2 -file mywad.wad -devparm", or whatever. Once in the game, press F1 to take a screenshot. 0 Share this post Link to post
Law Posted June 25, 2001 I love the Caco maze at the end, and the cool way of escaping the MasterMind. 0 Share this post Link to post

NiGHTMARE Posted June 26, 2001 I'd just like to point out that this ISN'T Fredrik's latest .wad :) And it wasn't when this pic was posted either, before someone says that ;) 0 Share this post Link to post
Fredrik Posted June 26, 2001 Actually, it is. If you think of UGHDM01, it has been lying finished on my hard disk for a while... 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Excalibur_Z Posted June 26, 2001 I thought Legacy was Boom-compatible? The WAD froze my machine when I tried running it through Legacy... twice. What ports are you guys running to get through this level? 0 Share this post Link to post
Arioch Posted June 26, 2001 Resource overload. Try ZDoom with a suitable -heapsize parameter. 0 Share this post Link to post
Fredrik Posted June 26, 2001 Unlike Vrack#, Castle Of Eternal Carrot In The Sky has NEVER crashed ZDoom for me, although I run it with the default heapsize (8). Boom seems to be the fastest exe, it runs like 50% faster than ZDoom... but maybe it's just my computer... 0 Share this post Link to post
NiGHTMARE Posted June 26, 2001 If you have a decent processor, a good amount of memory and the latest DirectX, ZDoom _should_ be the fastest port :) 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Griever Posted June 27, 2001 Dude, that's a good-looking map... *makes with the down-loading* 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Sir Robin Posted June 27, 2001 I didnt try with ZDooM but PrBooM ran it *mostly* smoothly with my P200MMX/32Mb... Specially the very beginning was really choppy but most places were perfectly smooth running. 0 Share this post Link to post
