NiGHTMARE Posted August 28, 2001 Then again, some people don't have Doom 2... 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest pablodictter Posted August 28, 2001 well...I like to edit for doom instead of editing for doom2. It's a long story. 0 Share this post Link to post
mystic Posted August 28, 2001 I like long stories. You could do both, there is a neat little utility that converts wads. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest pablodictter Posted August 28, 2001 I have doom2, but I don't like it. the new textures, bad guys are just not for me. I have made doom2 maps before, but they all suck. Anyway, right now I'm makin this map for Alien Vendetta, and i'm getting there, but is taking me a while. well, that was fast. = ) 0 Share this post Link to post
mystic Posted August 28, 2001 I have all the Doom versions. The reason I design wads for Doom 2 is because the original Doom 2 levels are mostly crap. I think the original Doom and Ultimate Doom levels are mostly great so Im not tempted to replace them. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest pablodictter Posted August 28, 2001 well, I guess we are two different doomers. next time I'll try to do some doom2 wads... ...if I get any ideas. 0 Share this post Link to post
mystic Posted August 29, 2001 It shouldnt really matter, people can always convert them with the wad conversion tools anyway. 0 Share this post Link to post
