Posted October 13, 2001 * UAC-Pr-Dept hugs everyone After reading a response Arioch gave involving leaving us all to go play Diablo 2 and update DW only on release occasions, I would like to express my gratitude for the service the DW staff provides and thumb my nose at the people who come around just to say DW sucks and all its maints are "doom-elitists." It's all in fun, so, to quote a <kissingass>great man</kissingass>, GO AWAY if you don't like them. Whether or not any (or even 100%) of DW updates and posts are biased, elitist-centered, or stupid, what would it matter? I don't recall anything stated during the enlightenment defending your natural right to relevent news on the topic of Doom... And if that's not enough to make some people STFU, just imagine where things would be without DW. A grand total of TWO people would know how to do 3d bridges, the self-referencing-sector trick for handrails (which I don't remember, personally) would be known to whoever came up with it only because he(or she?) would have had no idea who to tell about it, etc, etc. Many of us would have one of our favorite creative outlets, Doom, less able to uh... provide... outlet... ing...
