Guest Pikoro Posted June 7, 2000 That is because: I try to put a csDooM server in Chile... but the webmaster of FRAG.CL don't have DooM (1, 2, Ultimate or Final... WHO IN THIS PLANET DON'T HAVE SOMEONE DOOM?!... ggrrr) and He don't want use "ilegal" files... so I Tell him that he can use the DOOM Shareware to run a temporal Doom server, while we try to find a registered version of DOOM 2 (the compact) to give him (This is hard to do here, in Chile... All of us have a "copy" of the game). so, I need find some deathmatch maps that works with the DOOM Shareware, the normal DOOM first episode maps are too big. So the server guy could buy it thus, register, save it on a CD, and presto. (Recently I bought final DOOM that way). He could also get a copy of doom2 from ebay or something. Completely legal. Keep on pushing the guy. I'm not far from Chile, so I could play there too. Hey, E1M1 and E1M8 are too big? What would you use instead, a map with just 1 bathroom sized room?
