Guest dollar Posted July 4, 2000 How do I get the add on wad files to work. I used the -file thing but the file I loaded, loaded right after the doom2 file then everything just stops. I have tried loading without the doom2.wad file and that did not help either. I have Doom2 v1.95, and the file I am loading is hooter.wad. Could it be a problem with the hooter file it'self??? Guest dollar Posted July 5, 2000 I just rechecked it and when it loads, very quickly it flashes this on the screen DOS/4GW Professional Protected Mode Runtime Version 1.95 Does that help you any??? I'm really not good when it comes to knowing computer stuff, but I do love playing the game. Do you have any suggestions on game I could load easier for DOOM2? 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest fod_vile Posted July 5, 2000 no thats the version of dos4gw :( run game without wad added and check at top of screen as it loads, there will be a title bar with version # eg white bar 1.9 red bar 1.666 also if its 1.9 size of doom2.wad will be 14,604,584 bytes 0 Share this post Link to post
