I know when you play it backwards it says "TO BEAT THE GAME YOU MUST KILL ME, JOHN ROMERO".

But just for fun i listed to it fowards about 20 times or so and made up something that goes with the sound pretty well: "WHO DARES TO DIE - EVIL TO THE GATES, THE GATES OF HIMOO"

i know i need to get a life :)

but listen to it and tell me what you think it sounds like

Also, if you play DeSparil's voice backwards (from Heretic) he says 'Surrendur to Desparil'. When I first heard it forwards, I thought he was saying 'Message to Empress' or something.

Actually, if it's backwards, frontwards it would read "oremoR nhoJ em llik tsum uoy, emag eht niw ot."

If you just reverse the individual words, it wouldn't make sense when you reverse it again to play it forwards.
