Guest LRM Posted September 10, 2000 When editing doom, how do you change the appearance of the sky texture? Example: How do I change the cloudy sky of doom 2 to the city sky? 0 Share this post Link to post
stphrz Posted September 10, 2000 Two ways. The hard way is to replace the cloudy sky with a new sky patch using wintex or something. The easy way is just to make your level replace map 16 or some other in that range. In Wadauthor all you have to do is right click on an empty area (in the void somewhere) of your map and select "map name" from the popup menu. Change it from map 01 to map 16. That's it. 0 Share this post Link to post

Lüt Posted September 10, 2000 The best way to do this is replace the RSKY1 patch with the RSKY2 patch in Wintex. This affects the first 11 maps. Of course you could just wait around a little longer for Millennium to come out, and have per-level skies ;) 0 Share this post Link to post
