I am sure that the "Bundespruefstelle", responsible for banning Doom in Germany (one of my favorite subjects) has nothing to do with that, has it not?

ARPAnet was the original form of the Internet. In 1980, the entire thing went down, losing hundreds of gigabytes of e-mail and other data. Imagine if all the chatrooms, ISPs, e-mail servers, telnet servers, FTP servers, and everything else went down at the SAME TIME.
