i speak on behalf of all the beat down doomers and well all of us who are beat down every day. I finall stood up to my mother because she was beginnig to censore every part of my life, first she tried to take doom and the computer. Then my music and anything else i had left. I told her the truth that she is more concerned with the fact i dont believe in god than she is with my decaying state. so i ask all who are beat down by these dirty fucks stand up and defend your rights dont be a victim to those who dont understand. so i ask u is it right for a drug addicted mother to care more about her childs beliefe in a god more than the life they must face and their decaying mental state, which is cause by their abuse?

Maybe you should find someone you can talk to about this. Face to face. People on these forums will just agree with you that your mom's a bitch, you are right, fuck her etc. They won't concern themselves with what it will take to improve your life and state of mind. Seek out someone who is willing to really get involved and help. Keep looking until you find them.

i hate it when people dont think of music or video gaems as what they are...ART. would thos epeople thta say heavy metal is from the devil, adn try to get it banned or cencored or whatever fo out and cut out part of a painting they dont like? no they probably wouldnt because its art. tehy dotn understand what art is. music is art, video games are art. when people try to sensor music, its just like ripping up a faluable painting. and what with sensoring anyway? Uh, just so you know, there's quite a few Christian metal bands out there. And some of them are a lot heavier and much more talented than any mainstream artists.

And for metal lovers: OK, I really am not one to plug any of my sites, but there's an article that my friend wrote titled "Why Metal Is The Most Complete Form Of Music Today", and you can read that under "Rants" at my site The Barnacle (link in sig). Read, Learn, Memorize. I think he gets a few important points across that a lot of people are too narrow-minded to notice.

The only problem I see with the article is where it says that Rage Against the Machine originated rap-metal... I thought Faith No More did that... or was it Run DMC and Aerosmith in that "Walk This Way" remix? Either way, I don't think it was RATM...

More often than not, most parents go back to looking primarily after themselves after the novelty of having a new child wears off. As a matter of fact, I can't count on both hands and feet how many aquaintences I've had with people who don't know shit about their parents other than "They're bitches".
