Doom music ftp site (a little help here...?)

Ok, I attempt to open the site like you told us:(ftp://doom:doom@24.72.20.210 ), and not only will it not open, but it will freeze the browser! (I'm using IE 5.5.) I have to 'end task' every time I try to open it. What's up with that?

sorry for the delay. i was at work all nite. hmm... i have explorer 5.5 as well and have no problem. do any other ftps work through explorer (like ftp://ftp.cdrom.com)? maybe your explorer isn't working right with ftps. i still say your best bet is an ftp program. this way you can queue the files and just let them download. anyone else have trouble with explorer crashing with ftp sites and know how to fix it?
