Guest prets Posted March 4, 2001 this is fucked up... i use my computer all day, and my wrist make loads of repetitive movements outside of computer environment. ditto for my father AND my sister. but my mother doesn't even touch anything resembling a coputer, the only faintly repetitive motion she makes with her wrists is paintitng (wich i also do, t oa larger extent than her), and she just got surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome treatment. on both hands. and nobody else in the family even has anything remotely resembling it's symptoms. freaky. just needed to give the thought some material form, and ideas are welcome... 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Nodus Posted March 4, 2001 You basicaly described the same situation im in. My mother and I both paint and shes only recently gotten into computers and got carpal tunnel syndrome. Bastard doctors wont ever give her any medication for it either. Sucks though, Ill probably get it some day too. 0 Share this post Link to post
