I'd definitely have this midi as the first level for UAC Resurrection...

It just KICKS ASS!

For those who can't work out what it's from, it's from a NES game called Metal Gear 2: Snake's Revenge.

I haven't tried the second two, but the first one would go better for megaman x.

I don't intend in making UAC Resurrection 100% death-metal...

Those music tracks from the Megaman X games are easy to memorize. As a matter of fact all of the Megaman music, including the original ones on the NES, are easy to memorize. I can play some of them on my keyboard. Now only if I had a midi creating program and interface...

it's not megaman x ffs. snake.mid is from Metal Gear 2: Snake's Revenge (NES), metalgr2.mid is from Metal Gear (NES) and ssnake2.mid is from Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake (MSX).

By the way, I just listened to them and my favorites are metalgr2 and ssnake2. Since Lazer brought up Megaman, ssnake2 sounds a lot like it should be from a Megaman game, I don't really know about the snake one.
...And I know they're not from Megaman. They just kind of resemble them.

Good idea I should start trying to play them on my keyboard as well... Now I need to install cakewalk...

Cakewalk? I heard of it before... It's probably not what I'm thinking of though. Is it downloadable, or do you have to purchase it from somewhere? I think I saw someone download it and mess around with it once.
Am I thinking of the wrong program?
And another thing, check out www.vgmusic.com for a bunch of user-made midis from games from many consoles (nes, snes, psx, etc.).

I don't know if you are thinking of the wrong program. They are all pretty much the same, but I don't think you can download it, unless it was a preview version or something...
