Sir Fragsalot Posted April 17, 2001 I was browsing Doomworld's almost-never-updated source ports section, (Mordeth, when are you going to upload the latest JDoom? You cost me 2 hours of headaches trying to get md2s working in a version that doesn't support them) when I came across an awesome modification! It's called "Doom Wars", and it's the greatest. I know that lots of the 'oldies' here (remember the pre-1000 post days?) probably know about this mod, but I want to tell all the newbies about this. Doom as a first-person RTS! Wonderful! I've been playing it online with a friend every day for the past week! Anyway, I'm addicted to it. I hope that my post inspires others to check it out! 0 Share this post Link to post

The JDoom messageboard also doesn't mention a later beta. You (and that jaydee guy) are probably referring to the Doomsday beta, which does contain the very latest version.
