I am making a mod/single map for dosdoom which has a new monster and i wanted to know if anybody knew where i could get some sprites for a Shotgun Guy carrying a super shotgun. I.e a slightly larger Former Human looking character, i already have the monster finished, he fires the Super Shotgun and drops it when he dies but he looks exactly the same as the normal shotgunner. sirgalahadwizar Posted September 5, 2000 I agree, don't even bothe with using "inferior" ports like zdoom for a subject like this. EDGE is the tool to use in this case. If you send me the gfx (thru e-mail attachment) I can easily put a double barrel in his hands. My paint program is superior to PSP and works very well for sprites (my gfx are smoothed and life-like, not blocky and contrastual like others' are!). I will even draw reloading sprites if your using edge (breaking it down and puting shells in it). I also draw fantastic muzzleflashes ad projectiles (small or large). 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest xaero Posted September 6, 2000 But i am using Dosdoom because i am not using any Edge 3d stuff in my map and the DDF scripts that came with the latest Dosdoom have allowed me to write the code needed for my mod. But thanks sirgalahadwizar, I will take you up on your offer, but i do not know what gfx to send you as my new enemy just uses the standard Shotguy sprites and no new sprites yet, but if you mean the ID sprites i can do that. thanks 0 Share this post Link to post
