8 Stairs = 8 Sectors or 8 Staist = 1 Sector

I converted 1 Sector to 8 Stairs. Does every stair count as a sector or, do all 8 stairs count as 1 sector?

If you started with one sector, and broke it up into 8, then you are using 8 sectors.

It doesn't matter what you use them for, you got 8 sectors.

And thats when you're stuck with 10 sectors that you really miss those stairs... ;) I'm getting bored of elevators... and with 10 sectors, you're pretty limited when it comes to heavy teleportation jobs...

I think you can use Boom effects to teleport between linedefs. I'm not sure about this, I have to read up on it myself. You are allowed to use Boom specials for the contest btw.

Oh well, I'm a purist, I want it to be compatible with the original doom2... so... *grin*
And beside, I would have to waste a sector just for the teleporters to look good... cuz we cant add texture and I dont think any texture in the game would make a good teleporter effect if I use it as a transparent line in my current tech setting...
