Is there a way to emulate a PC speaker?

This may sound insane, but I want to hear what DooM sounds like with the ol' PC speaker.

When I first got shareware DooM, I did not have a sound card. I want to be able to hear DooM as it was back then. Just for a little nostalgic value. Is there some mod, program, ETC that can easily emulate a PC speaker on a sound card?

Just play doom and go "enkh!" "byoen!" "beeep!2 and "blaaaart!" every once in a while, that simulate the eperience eactly

Why not just run setup.exe again and select 'PC speaker' as your sound device?

It seemed like a silly idea at first, but it works for me!

Switching to PC speaker won't help.
The computer on which I originally played DooM was a 386-40mhz.
About a year after we got it (about 6 years ago), we got a sound card. I cut the wires to the internal pc speaker about three years ago becasue of a few programs that used it for very annoying sounds.

There wasn't really any other way of disabling it.

About a year after that, I got an AMD 333Mhz.
It, of course, doesn't have a PC speaker.
