Trouble with DoomCAD 6.1

I want to make sector inside another one. When i make it, he doesn't seen, that he have a TwoSided walls. Why ? I make it with Tutorial and all was fine, but when i do it myself, it not work. Help !

To make a child sector in doomcad you have to first draw the inner sector (i think it has to be clockwise). Then select the mother sector ( the one the sector is inside) then go up to the sector menu and click on Edit Current Sector's Linedefs.

Now you have to draw over (redraw) every linedef of the child sector, each one you want to be two sided, and right click when youve covered them all. This makes the linedefs shared by both sectors, therfore, two sided.

It might seem somewhat complicated and I find doomcad itself rather buggy, but more flexible when youve learned to use it better. If any of the above doesnt help i suggest you try a friendlier map editor.

Are you trying to make a pillar like the two in the start room of DOOM2 MAP01, where there is NULL space inside the pillar?

Or are you trying to make a pillar that doesn't go from ceiling to floor?
