Guest Lament Posted December 17, 2000 My Win98 finally blew up beyond repair, so I switched to win2000. One of the bad things I discovered is that all editors refuse to work!!!! Dos editors crash with gpf, win editors try to read some fictious memory addresses, make illegal operations and so on. This sucks. Anyone had the same problems? 0 Share this post Link to post

Lüt Posted December 18, 2000 Next time, I would recommend you upgrade your Windows98 machine to Windows95. 0 Share this post Link to post

NiGHTMARE Posted December 18, 2000 Nah, Win '98 has never ever crapped up my computer, whereas '95 used to do it all the time. I seem to remember that '95 was particularly fond of destroying your registry... 0 Share this post Link to post
