Guest c-d-w Posted August 30, 2000 Hi, just for kicks I figured I'd try jdoom with the md2 add-on. While not truly blown away, it was a nice change of pace. I managed to get all the enemies and scenery working, but I still have the old sprite hud weapons. What do I add to modeldef.txt to get 3d hud weapons? Guest PainoMan Posted September 1, 2000 What are hud weapons? I don't remember a hud in Doom (well, maybe the status bar could be considered a hud). If you mean the weapons you see on the screen, those are weapons your actually holding in front of you, not in a hud. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest c-d-w Posted September 2, 2000 yeah, that's what I meant, the weapons you use (in case anyone got confused and meant the weapons on the floor) - I always thought of the health, armor, ammo icons on the screen as a heads up display (hud) - and the weapons as hud weapons as opposed to pickup weapons.. maybe I'm just in my own little world here.. : ) 0 Share this post Link to post
