Guest FreAkish Posted June 3, 2000 We all want another DooM game because DooM rules. But I don't want the same game. If I did i'd play the one's we already have. We already have thousands of SP & DM levels to play and have all the mods we need. i think we should let ID have a bit of free reign and let themgo where they will witout us critsising them for doing something that isn't DooMish. The Quake "soundtrack" was just a bunch of ambiant noises. Bobby Prince really should do the music for the new DOOM - If he doesnt' - whoever does needs to really understand the necessity of complementing the atmosphere of the game with the music. Bobby Prince did an _AMAZING_ job at this with the original DOOM - and even with DOOM 2 - despite this being a more challenging task than the original - seeing as the atmosphere of DOOM 2 wasn't as distinct and easy to tailor to as DOOM. 0 Share this post Link to post

I really don't believe Trent's music would fit into DooM very well. Star Fuckers? WTF dude, imagine being in e1m1 listening to something like that. bleck... We need music that fits each levels uniqueness.
