DiSTuRBeD Posted June 11, 2000 just read about "Serious Sam", the game looks sweet, alltho i'm not too fond of the brightness =) The point here, the game's engine will be able to have 50+ monsters on screen at once. Cool! That happened rarely even in doom. So the technology is there to bring the Hordes back in Doom3, and hell, we all know Carmack, he'll prolly make the engine even better and maybe support 100 monsters or something. So i guess this game is a damn good sign for how Doom3 will be... And the way Serious Sam is welcomed is just fantastic. The gameplay in it is pretty Doomish, so if Doom3 becomes a 'real' doom game, it should be just as popular as ID's games allways is! 0 Share this post Link to post
