You need to reedit Doom2 source code. To do that, you need to have some skills on C / C++. I don´t know if you know something about that (i know very little).
What you can do is grab some utility like WinTex and change all D2 graphics & sounds, enemies & weapons will have the same behavior, but there is plenty to do for fun. (i made once a rocket-launcher kind of weapon replacing the Fighter´s Hammer of Retribution in HeXen)
