WILL DOOM 3 ENGINE DO ANYTHING TO ELIMINATE THIS PROBLEM????????????????????????????????????????? 0 Share this post Link to post
Tetzlaff Posted October 2, 2000 Hm sorry, what does it exactly mean, blocky levels? 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest DoomManiac Posted October 3, 2000 I think blocky level mean the old square room and not real curves in the environment. Well Doom III will use the Quake 3 engine, or a more powerful version of it, and we see that Quake III can make levels that are not like running around in boxes like Doom and Doom II. Now I am not bashing Doom at all, but with todays technology there shouldn't be any blocky levels. 0 Share this post Link to post
Tetzlaff Posted October 3, 2000 So Dima hasnĀ“t seen any Q3A map until now? Maybe the next question is "will the Doom3 engine be able to show 3dimensional enemies"... :) 0 Share this post Link to post
