Rellik Posted July 8, 2002 Try building the nodes with ZenNode, maybe it's just a problem with GL holes... 0 Share this post Link to post
VileSlay Posted July 8, 2002 I used glbsp to rebuild the nodes, there are still a couple of random flat and textures missing in opengl mode, but its not as bad as the before look. software looks fine. 0 Share this post Link to post
Sephiroth Posted July 8, 2002 that is the problem too many GL 'holes' try a openGL node builder. it will help but there will still be alot missing. or run it in software mode. i have yet to have luck with that wad in openGL and i dont think anyone else has too 0 Share this post Link to post
Cadman Posted August 2, 2002 Eternal of course was designed at the time before GL modes for Doom became available. If you use a source port look at PrBoom. Eternal was not designed for the mouse look option and of course not jumping. PrBoom will still give you high-resolution that people desire nowadays. ZDoom and Legacy are great ports but PrBoom will stay to what Eternal was designed for. A new version of PrBoom is available as noted on DoomWorld. A good friend of mine likes to hook up a network and we set up through PrBoom. Plays like a charm... Cadman Member - TeamTNT 0 Share this post Link to post

PrBoom does include some code to figure out these WAD tricks but Eternal would still need an overhall to get it to work well in GL mode. 0 Share this post Link to post
