Lord FlatHead Posted February 3, 2001 It seems id are releasing more and more information about the new Doom lately. Eye witnesses have seen the engine in action and a couple of cool features seem finished already. id has licensed UA-CORP.COM and put a weird placeholder message on it. And Paul Jacquays has mentioned on the Q3World forums that the game will be set on Mars. Doom 3 has been in development for over half a year now - and the research for it had started more than a year ago, right after the release of Quake 3 Arena. Am I way to optimistic, or is the development of Doom going faster than a lot of us anticipated ? wasted Posted February 3, 2001 Nah, it to soon to talk about the screens and stuff. I say we are getting nowhere at moment - all our hopes belong to site with a hidden message... So its not so sense in choosing some dates of first screens and so on.... BTW, does anyone know who is "Username"? That gentleman replied in such a strange way.
