doomsick Posted February 27, 2001 after viewing carmacks little teaser, i was pleased to see plently of darkness, which has been missing from some of id's more recent games(Q3, you must admit looks like a disco at times) i'm hoping for that darkness (when all you could see was an imp's fireball coming at you )to return! 0 Share this post Link to post
Zaldron Posted February 28, 2001 Well, Quake was the last dark game. Quake 2 was about killing aliens in their own world, so why would it be dark? And Q3A was deathmatch, so there´s no place for darkness. Some people even kill the textures with r_picmip 45435, full gamma on, force models, fov 120, and vertex lighting... 0 Share this post Link to post
