Regarding the plasma gun itself, keeping this thread on-rails - it's a nice idea, essentially a plasma based minigun with the progressive speed increase. I feel the jump to max-speed is a bit... odd. It seems like it's possibly too fast for anything except boss monsters; also, it seems like it takes possibly a little too long before it's activated to make it truly useful. Have you tested this in actual levels to see how it fares? Finally, those blip sounds are very harsh and unpleasant, as if the plasma gun wasn't noisy enough already! :P 0 Share this post Link to post
antares031 Posted November 1, 2015 Perhaps it will be better if you increase the maximum round before cool off from 100 to 200. Just about to start enjoying to fire blindly, it blocks my joyful shooting experience even before I kill a Cyberdemon. Plus, cooling time is a little bit too long.
