Different times, Freedoom was essentially just a bunch of teenage kids throwing some stuff together. In retrospect it's a stupid childish joke and I regret it.

it shouldn't be too hard to just come up with a more fitting sci-fi esque acronym for the game, but i guess it's too much effort to be bothered with ATM/not a high priority as of now.

In all likelihood it's probably far less than I've imagined in the past (I always imagined it as being prohibitively costly to change). If you want to replace it with something else then go right ahead. I thoroughly approve.

I don't care what the origins are, AGM doesn't have to stand for anything, let alone "Afterglow's Mom".

I'd prefer to see it stay because the letter combination itself looks nice and sounds nice to say.

I always disliked AGM since it is commonly used for "Annual General Meeting".

But coming up with a new TLA that both sounds good and is not used by *anything* is probably impossible now. The option of simply not having one at all should be considered.

How about renaming SKAG1337 into something less cringeworthy? Unlike with AGM, just about everyone knows what 1337 stands for.
