Automatic texture fill / remove, GZDB?

Is it possible to disable the automatic texture fill / remove when splitting lines in GZDoom Builder? It would make more sense for that kind of feature to be manual.. like select sectors/lines then hit a button to fill missing textures (ask user which texture to use?) or to remove textures from unseen parts?

I've been using a custom version of DB2 that disabled that "feature" and it is great... but I'd like to switch to using GZDoom Builder, as all the other features are pretty cool and the other issue that's been putting me off has been corrected...

I have a staircase that's supposed to rise later. I move it in the sector mode and all lower textures disappear and I have to retexture it again.
