Strange crash with Chocolate Doom

Hi all, I've been testing my map with chocolate doom and the map crashes it when I proceed to a certain area of the map.
The crash occurs on UV but not on HMP which makes this really weird.

ah sorry its E1M1 and chocolate doom just crashes without an error message so i really don't know what sort of crash it is

Despite what you said, the crash happens regardless of difficulty setting. The engine crashes when this wall comes into the player's view. NUKEDGE1 is a multi-patch texture (consists of more than 1 patch that overlap vertically), and vanilla/Chocolate engine can't stand multi-patch textures used as middle textures on 2-sided walls - which is exactly how you've used the texture here.

Solution: Raise the floor behind the texture and make it a lower texture instead of a midtexture.
