Is the tradition of the staff bestowing a custom title upon you based on your personality/contributions/reputation on Doomworld once you reach a certain amount of posts dead, or would you basically have to ask one of them to give you one if you wanted it at this point?

Gez also totally wants a custom title per his custom text. Do not listen to his lies.

 

Custom titles usually get award for legendary silly or stupid shit. And there is a fine line between what is silly/epic or stupid/dumb.

According to Ichor, Gez's title is not custom,so I guess you should correct the last one to 7000-20000 and make the "Seriously?! What do I have to do to get a custom title around here?" as 20000-infinity. Although he's the only guy to reach that so we can't exactly verify. Sorry for the bump.

I know! I would imagine that after making two different threads and several dozen status updates about getting custom titles on Doomworld, it would have been easier for me to come up with a title. But Nope! it took me 30 some odd minutes to come with what I would consider a very subpar joke. Still love the feature!

Yes, just go to the persons profile and scroll down to the about section, its nestled in between the currently viewing and recent profile views.

Actually yes. Though I guess the last part is a bit redundant now that everyone can just customize their own title:
