Most Doom 1-like Doom 2 wads

What are the wads and/or megawads for Doom 2 that most resemble the aesthetics of the first 3 episodes of Doom 1?

I kinda prefer the liberal use of red & blue and such throughout the original Doom maps, and the Doom 2 textures just feel so brown and drab by comparison. I do miss the super shotgun and additional enemies when playing Ultimate Doom though.
