Can't select in DoomBuilder2... Help! (FIXED)

This has never happened to me before. I cannot select vertices, linedefs, or sectors in their respective modes. The highlighting of the selected stuff doesn't appear when I hover my mouse over it. The only way to select anything is by a using select boxes.

I can't do anything useful while this is happening. Please help me!

That was one of the first places I checked. That control hasn't been changed.

What happens when you move C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Doom Builder\Builder.cfg to some other folder and let DB2 generate a new cfg file?

I moved the cfg file and ran DB again. No change.

Also of note, I don't think it generated a new config file. (Ignore this, this is the default file for DB, not the personal one)

EDIT: didn't check appdata, just where DB is located. Wait one.

No effect. Still having the problem.

EDIT 2: I uninstalled and reinstalled Doom Builder 2 and the problem persists. I'm clueless at this point as for what's causing it.

Most mysterious indeed.
If you ever find a solution to this, then you must let us know.

Meanwhile at the ranch, install GZDoom Builder and see if that works.
Who knows, you might even keep using it.

Try another mouse and perhaps a proper driver. I also have some issues with my mouse in DB2 and GZDB, but with no other program.

I restarted my computer. That seems to have fixed it.

I can't believe that's all I needed to do...
