Problem with Daedalus: Alien Defense

So, I have been trying to play Daedalus, but I get stuck on a loop whenever I reach a "travel tube". I know it's suppose to take me to the next map, but it just keeps starting over. I searched google, I searched the forums, but I haven't found anyone with the same problem. The version I have is the one from the idgames archive.

What version of ZDoom or GZDoom are you using?

I was using the build dated february 15th for both of them. Right now I updated to the latest build, but the problem persists.

i've had the same problem too. it's a shame since i never finished Daedalus, and now i can't do it, unless someone can figure out what the problem is and patches it up.

Graf figured it out, and a compatibility option was added to fix the problem.

It's a real dumb bug, too: the tube script teleports you back to the tube, and then to the new level. Several years later, the ability to exit the same level several time is reported as a bug, and fixed, and this broke Daedalus' bogus script.
